  • Dr Priyangshu Manab Sarma

    Dr Sarma is involved with technology development and commercialization of laboratory based innovations in the area of bio-energy and petroleum biotechnology for last 17 years. He was associated TERI for 15 years and was the Convenor of the Microbial Biotechnology group. Then was then associated with ONGC Energy Center as a Domain Expert for Biotechnology Projects. With successful national and international research collaborations, he has 48 international peer previewed publications and 3 patents. He is actively engaged in Research and Development of technologies and its field implementation. His areas of expertise include biological waste remediation, microbial enhanced recovery of oil and coal bed methane, microbial fuel cells and bio-electro chemical systems for and biomass and bio waste valorisation.   • Hamendra Das

    Served the entire value chain of Petroleum industry from working in a Calcined Petroleum Coke manufacturing unit thru Refinery and Petrochemical complex to an E&P company from 1975 to 2014. Thus have a holistic view about the whole industry in general and E&P sector in particular. Areas of interest/expertise are petroleum geochemistry, geochemical prospecting, unconventional hydrocarbons, environmental studies etc.

    Worked in the areas of Petroleum Geochemistry extensively including setting up of laboratories in two places while serving in Oil India Ltd. Innovated a novel technique for reservoir fluid characterization by analyzing the fluid content of Side wall cores. The technique is routinely used along with log data for identifying the pay zones in Oil India Ltd. Received NPMP, MoP&NG and Petrofed awards for the same as outstanding innovation.

  • Raj Puri

    Mr. Raj Puri is a 35 years veteran of the Oil & Gas industry. Graduated from IIT Kanpur with a B.Tech degree and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado, USA. Upon graduation, he started his working in the energy sector as a Research Engineer for a supermajor, BP. Raj transitioned from R&D to senior Business/Management roles, primarily to commercialize new technologies.

    During his 30-year career with BP, he held expatriate positions for 10 years in China, United Kingdom, Indonesia, Australia and India. After retirement from BP, Raj became Chief Executive of a private energy company in Australia for 2 years. Since then, he is a budding entrepreneur based in San Francisco, passionately involved with startups that commercialize new breakthrough technologies in the Energy and Environmental sectors.

  • Dr Sabitry Choudhury Bordoloi

    Dr.Bordoloi has superannuated as Professor and Scientist G, Resource Management and Environment section,Life Sciences Division, Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati. DrBordoloi has 35 years of teaching and research experience. Her field of research is Biodiversity of NE region of India and ecosystem research including bio-assisted phytoremediation of crude oil contaminated soil in oil fields of Upper Assam. DrBordoloi has 89 research publications and 15 students has so far beenawarded Ph.D. degree under her supervision. She has led several research collaborations with universities and Institutions within India and abroad.
